Mission Ale House, established in 1996 in the heart of downtown San Jose, is a warm, fun and exciting place with 32 beers on tap, two bars and a full kitchen menu. This old time Ale House can hold up to 300 people and features a private lounge, outside patio and was recently awardedBest Of The Silicon Valley "Happy Hour". Best "Outdoor Patio" and Best "Beer Selection".
Located at the corner of 3rd and Santa Clara Streets. Mission offers free parking after 6PM and all day Saturday and Sunday.
The Mission Ale House provides a warm and welcoming "local" atmosphere to residents of San Jose and neighboring communities and a great escape for visitors to the San Jose Convention Center and its neighboring hotels.

The Main Bar
The original Mission Ale House bar is long and narrow, with rustic red brick on one wall and a massive 40-foot long 16-foot tall mahogany back bar. Truly the tradition of the ol’ ale house lives here and is the heart of nightly fun. Can hold 70 or more.

The Lounge and Patio
Located at the back of Mission Ale House is a private lounge and patio area that holds up 125 for cocktails and buffet. With private entrance and private bar. This unique, eclectic area allows your group the privacy you need.

The Barrel Room
Located in the west side of the facility are two open rooms connected by 12 foot pillars of mahogany, located alongside the kitchen but off from the main bar this room allows groups privacy that is never far from the main action. Holds 200 for cocktails and buffet.
Each room is available for private or non-private affairs and is subject to negotiation. The entire facility including all rooms can be reserved for very special occasions.
